"panta rhei”, famously said by prescratic philosopher Heraclitus and later quoted by many others, can be roughly translated into”everything fluxes". According to Heraclitus, the world is one and is in constant flux. This is concisely expressed in another saying of his, that "one can never step into the same river twice". In this piece, the idea of “ flux vs one” is presented through placing ever changing sound transformation against the relatively stable temporal structure. Spatially, the piece takes the image of the river and attempts to "hear" the river from different positions, away, near, above, going under, under, etc.
